Sabres sign Montador - 7-1-09

According to TSN, the Sabres have signed former Bruins defenseman Steve Montador. The deal is for two years at $1.55 million per season. He had 21 points (four goals, 17 assists) in 78 games split between Anaheim and Boston last season.

EN Says: Nice move for Buffalo. The Sabres don't nearly have enough tough, hard-nosed players on their roster and that's exactly what Montador offers. Additionally, he has a little playoff experience which is something the Sabres don't have a lot of either.
