Penguins

-He might wear No. 77, but Jay McKee (above) ain't no Paul Coffey. And that's not a bad thing.
-Alaska native Tim Wallace will be taking part in an event at a Summer Elite Hockey League game in Anchorage. Forwards Brandon Dubinsky of the Rangers and Joey Crabb of the Thrashers, also both Alaskans, will also take part.
Atlantic Division
-This young lady is either doing an impression of Flyers forward Scott Hartnell, or she just found out Ray Emery is her team's goaltender:

Northeast Division
-The Sabres agreed to a multi-year contract extension with defenseman Andrej Sekera and reached an arbitration agreement with forward Clake MacArthur for one year. Both players were restricted free agents.
-As many as 100 people a day are going to demolition side of the Aud (the Buffalo Memorial Auditorium for you formal folks) and asking for a piece of rubble.
-The Bruins avoided arbitration with restricted free agent defenseman Matt Hunwick and signed him to a two-year contract extension worth an annual salary cap hit of $1.45 million.
-The Canadiens signed former Canucks goaltender Curtis Sanford to a one-year two-way contract.
Southeast Division

-The Thrashers signed 2009 first-round pick forward Evander Kane (right) to a three-year entry-level contract.
-As associate head coach and director of player personnel for the Hurricanes, former Penguins captain Ron Francis (right) has his hands full.
-The Hurricanes signed defensemen Brett Carson and Bryan Rodney to one-year two-way contracts.
Central Division
-Last month, Red Wings forward Justin Abdelkader was scoring key goals in the Stanley Cup final. This month, he's taking econ classes at Michigan State.
-The Blackhawks signed former Senators forward Danny Bois to a one-year contract.
-The Blues re-signed defenseman Justin Fletcher and former Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins defenseman Danny Richmond.
Northwest Division
-The Flames signed restricted free agent forward Nigel Dawes.
-Julys tend to be cruel to Oilers fans.
Pacific Division
-The Kings re-signed defenseman Drew Bagnall and forward Teddy Purcell and signed prospect Justin Azevedo to a multi-year entry-level contract.
-The Coyotes re-signed forwards Jeff Hoggan, David Spina and defenseman Sean Sullivan.
