We're a little late with these two items, but here you go:

-Bruins forward Marc Savard (above) talked to the media today for the first time since he suffered a concussion on a hit to the head by Penguins forward Matt Cooke at Mellon Arena, March 7. Since the hit, Cooke has tried to contact Savard. Savard's response:

"Yeah, he's tried, tried to get my phone number and stuff like that. But from what's happened, I really don't at the moment have any interest in talking to him. That's just how I feel. Maybe down the road, but right now I'm not feeling any better so I'd rather just not talk to him."

-The Penguins announced a partial list of former players who will take part in a celebration as part of the final regular season game at Mellon Arena, April 8. Hockey Hall of Fame members Mario Lemieux, Paul Coffey, Bryan Trottier, Craig Patrick, Larry Murphy and Andy Bathgate will be part of the festivities.
