What we need
It makes little sense to leave private insurance corporations in charge of our health-care system, if we decide that health care is a human right in the wealthiest country in the history of civilization.
Here in Pittsburgh, we have a $6 billion international health-care provider/insurance company abandoning the Mon Valley in Braddock to build a new hospital not far from another to put that competing hospital out of business. Forget patient needs, forget the community, forget the poor as insignificant roadkill.
Obama, Casey, Specter, Doyle: We need Medicare for all, not reform with insurance profits on steroids.
