We deserve the care our representatives get

It's amazing that we can't get our elected officials to do what the people (we are supposed to be their bosses) want and need. They dance around what needs to be done and go halfway. Why can't they simply do what is right? What we need is the same health care they receive - nothing more, nothing less.

We won't be able to purchase cheaper drugs from Canada? Of course not. Keep those contributions coming from the big drug companies. National Health Service? No way, look at how this has failed in Canada and Great Britain. Well, it is not a failure; it works extremely well.

It is time to shelve the whole lot of them and elect people who will not be swayed by who is financing the next re-election campaign or special interest. Wake up, America.
