Irresponsible, PG

I was so upset to see the photo "He's Not Bored" on the front of the Local News section Tuesday. I think it is very irresponsible of the Post-Gazette to show a picture of a skateboarder skating down the steps of a bridge without a helmet or protective pads.

Parents and health-care professionals are constantly stressing to children the importance of helmets and then you put this on the section's front page? Just what adolescents need, to see irresponsible behavior rewarded with a full-color photo in the paper.

How about helping the cause for safety instead of hindering it?
