Goodness reminders

I was impressed and delighted to read "Random Acts of Kindness" on Jan. 7 in the Page A-2 Portfolio section of the Post-Gazette. Amid all the horrors and tragedies, how wonderful to read these words of appreciation and thanks from people for their fellow man. Especially touching was the letter from Katie Rodgers telling of her experience on an icy road and the young man who risked his own safety to help her ("Ice Panicked a Motorist Until Another Saved Her").

Thank you, Post-Gazette. Please continue the reporting of random acts of kindness. Remind your readers daily of the good and caring people among us.
