We need less rhetoric and more leadership

For two years before the November 2008 election we watched/listened to the "teleprompter" speeches and the campaign rhetoric about change, about transparency, about fiscal responsibility - about, about, about.

Now after a year with Barack Obama as president, we realize that Mr. Obama is really just an "empty suit" with a smile, a "wizard of oz" out from behind the curtain, an "emperor with no clothes."

Perhaps the only way is to elect new people in November 2010 who will, regardless of party, come together to provide the leadership we need and deserve.
