Brownsville Area citizens deserve to be heard

Regarding "Teacher Suspended Over Stripper Photo" (Jan. 22 Web): What is even more outrageous than the Brownsville Area School District's decision to suspend an excellent teacher for a month over a photo posted on the Internet - that she did not post and in which she was doing nothing wrong, in her own private time - is the audacity of the school board to deny the public the right to comment on its decision at school board public meetings.

When you sign up for elected office, you are agreeing to being held accountable - especially for the stupid decisions.
