Factor in anger

The PG reported that "the Pittsburgh Parking Authority board yesterday chose two law firms to help it through a lease of city garages, lots and potentially meters that it hopes will net $200 million" ("2 Law Firms Hired to Help City Lease Parking Lots," Jan. 22).

The politicians of Pittsburgh would do to well to research Chicago's privatizing of parking meters and the effect on parking meter rates and the resultant public anger.
