Trying to use sense

Written by Rosa Colucci on .

Regarding the alleged beating of high school student Jordan Miles by police: Istvan Balogh writes ("Stop Making Assumptions About Police," Feb. 16 letters) that it is ludicrous to think Jordan Miles was stopped because he is black.

Exactly why was he stopped? I do agree Mr. Miles should have stopped when ordered. But once caught, why the alleged beating by three law enforcement officers?

Mr. Balogh also asks us to use basic common sense when it comes to this type of alleged attack. I think that is what we are trying to do.
