Spiraling debt

In response to Marilyn Mulvihill's Feb. 21 letter ("What's Their Gripe?") I offer the following facts. Taxes being raised is not the agenda of the tea party activities.

It is the spiraling national deficit without any thought given to paying toward the national debt. It is the legislature voting to increase the spending deficit limit, which received only Page 7 coverage in the PG. It is government overlooking and ignoring the Constitution. This is not a Republican versus Democrat scenario. So, yes, Ms. Mulvihill has missed something, and it's terribly important.
