In stitches ... hardly
Thanks for your Jan. 25 feature about conservative radio, "Something to Talk About" (a somewhat dubious title that assumes these blowhards ever run out of things to talk about).
I had been under the erroneous impression that there might be a partisan agenda behind Rush Limbaugh stating "I hope he fails" when asked his opinion about President Barack Obama. But an expert from Talkers Magazine, Michael Harrison, straightened me out -- he's not out to bash or support a president; he's just displaying his awesome talent! Just because he explicitly called anyone who questioned George W. Bush's agenda a traitor doesn't make his statement about Mr. Obama a blatant example of hypocrisy -- it's just entertainment!
And speaking of funny guys, that Jim Quinn -- what a card! He thinks that slaves had a more legitimate existence than welfare recipients do. HA HA HA -- that's hilarious! And calling the National Organization for Women "the National Organization for Whores" -- that is so funny! I can't stop laughing ... but then I often laugh when I encounter stupid, inane discourse. It's better than crying.
