She can't be serious about game-ball complaint

In response to "Dan Rooney Is Tampering With Karma" (Jan. 29 Web letters) by Susan Eby: Are you kidding me? This is the topic that you decide to be so inflamed by?

Steelers owner Dan Rooney can do whatever he wants to do with his money, his time and his opinion -- just like you, me and everyone else in this country.

Second, if the worst picture you viewed in 2008 was the one of Mr. Rooney handing Barack Obama a Steelers jersey, you've been sitting in North Carolina with your head in the sand. With all the bad things that happen in the world, this is the worst? Cut us all a break.

Last, as for the game ball that he presented to Barack Obama? Maybe some aren't aware that there are numerous game balls from each NFL game played. You can be sure there is a game ball from the AFC Championship sitting in the Great Hall, as well in Mr. Rooney's office and numerous other places.
