Critics won't give Obama a chance on economy

Written by Rosa Colucci on .

The presidential election has been over for almost four months, the inauguration is over and Mr. Obama is now President Obama. Yet the same rhetoric still prevails with some people who really do not want to give the man a chance.

President Obama has been officially in office for a few weeks and already he has critics who doom him to failure even though his failure will mean the collapse of the world economy. Still, some people persist in believing that the Republicans could resolve a problem they created through bad policies.

It has been generally known that there were no "weapons of mass destruction" in Iraq and a war was fought on hearsay information. Our financial situation is not hearsay and it is important that we fight it as a war--that we should invest as much as possible into the economy to try to fix the problem.

It will take at least two years before we may see any change for the good. It is necessary that things move forward rapidly if we are to stop the continued collapse of our economy

I am not an economist, but I can sense that things are still headed in the wrong direction. I worry that a motor industry collapse would cause a horrible situation for all the companies who do business with the motor companies.
