A friend indeed

One of the most consistent, efficient and kind public officials, John K. Weinstein, deserves public thanks.

The required license for our dogs creates not only a record at the Allegheny County treasurer's office but also a friend apparently.

When an animal dies, Mr. Weinstein sends (at his personal expense) a lovely condolence card. The most recent one we received was especially sincere, containing a beautiful poem. Mr. Weinstein seems to take his job to heart!
