Before President Barack Obama was elected, I mentioned electing him with a filibuster-proof majority would be my worst nightmare. Unfortunately, President Obama, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Sen. Harry Reid proved me right.
I wonder how many of those who voted for President Obama are regretting that vote.
Then I kept on seeing U.S. Rep. Jason Altmire on TV because he was on the fence. Well, his decision should have been a very easy one: vote for the Senate health care reform bill and elect his Republican rival; vote against it and have a chance to be re-elected. The choice is so clear!
Note: I moved from Pennsylvania for a better job. By the way, during my engineering orientation class at Northrop Grumman Shipyard, about 10 out of 14 people were from Pennsylvania and eight of the 10 were from Western Pennsylvania. There is a mass exodus, thanks to Gov. Ed Rendell.
