Who says the mayor's 311 line doesn't work?

My daughter, who lives on the South Side Slopes, had a problem with the water in her kitchen sink being brown. She asked me to call for her as she wouldn't have time to call from work.

I called on a Wednesday giving her work number and on Thursday she got a call, saying someone would be out to flush the hydrants.

She didn't get his name, but she did say he told her he worked there 33 years. We thank him for the prompt call back.
