Anti-abortion forces have fanned fires of hatred
The death of Dr. George Tiller is shocking but not surprising ("Late-Term Abortion Provider Killed in Church," June 1). Evidently President Barack Obama's call for a dialogue fell on deaf ears. Is the abortion issue going to take center stage? Is this going to result in a holy war of sorts?
The right to choose within the law is a woman's right. To make this decision depends on many factors. Most Americans respect that right. Who are we to judge a woman's decision?
The radical religious right has fanned the fires of hate, which has led to a cold-blooded murder. Why must those who are anti-abortion fan the fires of hate? This is not a civilized way to approach the question.
