They're undeserving

In regard to the July 18 article "Losing Doesn't Deter Pirates Faithful": I know plenty of alienated, former Pirates fans, myself included.

What rankles me the most is the way proven, productive players (e.g., Jason Bay, Nate McLouth, etc.) are traded away like disposable property in pursuit of a spurious "vision."

In a quasi-moral context, Pirates ownership and management do not deserve a winning team.
