The body as instrument: no, not singing -- beatbox!

I warned you that this blog will be eclectic, and here is an example. I have always loved beatbox, as much for how amazing some of it sounds are, as for how passionate its practitioners can be.

A young Malaysian, DJ Venolla, posted a beatbox tutorial last year on YouTube, which recently pop-up again as a featured video. It is a neat view inside of the mechanics of how some of the sounds are made. Enjoy!
