Sugar-coated excuse

Let the truth be known: Mayor Luke Ravenstahl isn't really concerned about the health of the people in Pittsburgh by taxing soft drinks containing sugar ("Ravenstahl Proposes Tax on Sugary Drinks," March 17). Anyone with half a brain knows it's just another way to obtain money by another tax and has nothing to do with anyone's health.

Someone, please save us from people who want to save us.
