The real sentiment

In the article "Altmire Says No to Health Care Bill" (March 20), Mr. Altmire reported many e-mails urging a no vote on health care but had not officially polled his constituents. The true sentiment of the vast majority of his constituents would not be welcome news to Mr. Altmire.

Either the Big Money Boys have truly used their influence to sway a gullible public, or the insurance/pharmaceutical lobby simply sent the e-mails themselves.

No one with whom I have spoken wants the abusive present system to continue; we badly need health care reform.

Mr. Altmire will surely be rewarded by a very cushy job when he is voted out of office next November.
