They'll use benefits

Written by Rosa Colucci on .

Has anyone else noticed the areas where most of the "vote no on health care reform" letters came from? Fox Chapel, O'Hara, Peters, Upper St. Clair, Sewickley. I am curious if any of the people who submitted them have health insurance. (I'll bet they do.)

If they have insurance will they now opt out of the benefits the new bill provides: children covered until the age of 26, more coverage for seniors during the "doughnut hole" period, tax breaks for businesses, etc.? (I'll bet not.) Would they consider opting out of Medicare, Social Security benefits, etc? (I'll bet they don't.)

How much longer do we Americans have to watch our fellow citizens suffer with a lack of sufficient health care and then have to listen to the pundits complain about them? How sad.
