Of course, call police

Written by Rosa Colucci on .

In response to Mark Crowley's Aug. 8 letter ("Unfair to Victims") about reporting lost or stolen guns: Mr. Crowley, are you really suggesting that people shouldn't report rapes, car thefts and kidnappings to the police?

The answer to your diatribe is rather simple: If there is the very real probability that the child kidnapped from me will be used to kill several people (are young children lethal weapons in your mind?), and I do not report the kidnapping, and the child is used to kill people, then, yes, by all means, I should lose my other children.

Lethal weapons in the hands of criminals are a danger to everyone. Not telling the police is idiocy of the highest order.
