We have no alternative, so give the Bucs a chance

Kudos to letter writer Colin White ("Bright Pirates Future," Aug. 6), who, unlike so many others, thinks the Pirates' current plan is worthy of a chance to succeed. Whether it is Plan A, B, C or D, at least it's a plan that has not been tried before, but with some patience may achieve the desired results

So, short of abandoning the team entirely, which would be counterproductive, let's give these new guys a chance to develop.

When and if this happens, we can look back and say, hey, we finally have a team to go with the ballpark. Go, young Bucs!
