We're owed nothing
Sorry to inform some Post-Gazette readers, but we do not have a "right to health care." We so graciously have the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness -- all pertaining to the protection of the individual. Americans have to stop thinking that they're owed something and start earning their keep.
Our government has no means of making money to buy "clunkers" off the road or to "give" health care to anyone -- only the ability to take from productive society and redistribute as it pleases. Please don't forget this, nothing is free; anything given to the needy is stolen from the able. There is no "common good" besides freedom, which we are slowly losing.
And, no, I do not have health care, nor does most of my family. We all work very hard and would rather not have health care than have it given to us with stolen funds. Laissez faire!
