When a fetus is the victim

Two prominent sports figures grabbed the headlines recently in stories that had little to do with sports. The Philadelphia Eagles signed quarterback Michael Vick, and individuals and organizations alike were up in arms. Vick was excoriated for his horrific acts of torturing and killing dogs.

The other story featured University of Louisville basketball coach Rick Pitino, who paid a woman $3,000 to have an abortion to kill an unborn child. Pitino was ? oh, wait. The victim was only a "fetus," so of course there wasn't as much uproar.
