A nightmare

It was with great sadness that I read about Jennifer Daugherty ("6 Charged in Woman's Brutal Killing: Police Say Mentally Disabled Victim Was Abused for Days Before Stabbing," Feb. 13). As the parent of a 30-year-old mentally challenged daughter, very similar in abilities to Jennifer, I can say that what occurred is every parent's nightmare.

I hope her sadistic killers get the electric chair, lethal injection or whatever we do in Pennsylvania. And I volunteer that the governor would let me pull the switch.
