Worth your time
I would like to suggest that Pittsburghers get out and campaign for Patrick Dowd or Carmen Robinson for mayor.
On Monday night, I heard Councilman Dowd speak about the need to change Pittsburgh from a shrinking city to a growing city, create jobs, provide incentives to small businesses and creative startups, target our development into smart clusters, sell the city, change attitudes, get rid of status quo and protectionist thinking and Act 47 and, of course, create more jobs.
On Saturday, I heard mayoral candidate Carmen Robinson say many of the same things.
If people want a real person who is accessible, who can bring change to the city, the change they were promised when they voted for the "young guy" last time, I hope they listen to these two brave, motivated and caring candidates when given a chance.
