This is in response to your April 21 article "Rivals Trade Shots in Mayoral Debate." The article quoted former police sergeant and current mayoral primary candidate Carmen Robinson as saying, "Banning weapons will not make people feel safer, because we won't have guns, but the criminals will."
I have been registered to vote in Pittsburgh for 20 years, and I have never voted for a Democrat in a city election. Since I am not registered as a Democrat, I guess it's too late for me to change my registration before the primary. However, Ms. Robinson, you have my word that if you win the primary, I will definitely vote for you in the general election in November.
