Democratic disrepair

Written by Rosa Colucci on .

You can't "cross that bridge when you come to it" because for the past nine years the Democratic machine sputtered along nearly driving the city of Pittsburgh into bankruptcy. Imagine living under the crumbling Davis Avenue Bridge for the past decade, putting up with the increased traffic due to the detour, and then being given 24 hours to move ("Brighton Heights Residents Are Forced Out by Decaying Davis Avenue Span," April 23).

Keep voting year after year for the fiscally irresponsible Democratic Party and you will find that the gravity of the situation is, in this case, a bridge's worst enemy.
