I was pleasantly surprised to read that Dan Simpson agrees with at least one belief of the tea party movement ("Washington Leeches," March 24 column). As far as the opinions of the Post-Gazette editorial board, I can only agree with their strong stance against the corruption of our state government.
If I may use some of Mr. Simpson's own words, I find the rest of the editorial opinions unappealing. For me the board seems too biased, too old, devoid of credible leadership and imbued with many ideas that I consider lunatic.
But, hey, keep your eyes and minds open, editors. There may be hope for you yet. However, Mr. Simpson's cavalier labeling of tea party members as bigoted shows you have a long way to go.
