Comforting touch

Kudos for printing the photo of beautiful Carolina Shriver touching the face of her grandfather, Sargent Shriver ("Comforting Grandpa Shriver," Aug. 14).

In this day and age it is so wonderful to see the compassion and love that she is showing to her grandfather, who probably can't even remember who she is as a result of his Alzheimer's disease. It nearly brought me to tears when I opened the Post-Gazette and saw that precious picture!
