The election remedy

Written by Rosa Colucci on .

I know many people who find President Barack Obama's uncontested power grabs, wealth redistribution and unconstitutional interference into the private sector alarming.

Checks and balances require that Congress contain any excesses by the executive branch. But we have a willing Congress because, with a few exceptions, we have career politicians -- and career politicians' No. 1 priority is holding on to their offices. The good of the country or their constituents is always second.

Some people say we need term limits. We already have them, people -- they're called elections.
