More on reform bills
While I found the Sept. 18 article regarding the various health-reform bills quite informative ("Hefty Premiums Feared With Health Bill") -- especially putting them side-by-side for comparison purposes ("Health Bills Compared"), I believe it fell short. I thought there were really two major issues on the table: health-care reform (access, delivery, cost), and health-insurance reform (access, cost, competition).
The only comparisons provided in the article related to the health-insurance reform aspects of the bills. Unless there really isn't anything in the bills regarding health-care reform (and I shudder to think I would have to read the thousands of pages of "legalese" in order to discern this on my own) I believe a follow-up article comparing how these bills address health-care reform is in order.
