Let the revolt begin!

Sign me up for letter writer John Mulheran's taxpayer revolt ("It's Time for an Old-Fashioned Taxpayer Revolt," Dec. 18). Do you ever hear of politicians "cutting back"? No, they get elected and live the high life - their main object is getting re-elected.

Mr. Mulheran includes the state politicians only. I'd say the Washingtonians need to be cleaned out also. The two things that need to be changed are: (1) there should be term limits and (2) throw out the lobbyists - they are the people running the government. Neither of these will ever happen.
