To what advantage?

Sunday evening, a day after the snowstorm hit our area, I drove to Indiana Township and Fox Chapel from Squirrel Hill. Outside of the Squirrel Hill area, roads were completely plowed and clear. Within the city of Pittsburgh limits, however, the roads were still treacherous to travel 48 hours after the first snowfall.

We pay much higher taxes, have inferior public schools and the restaurants, stores and booksellers within walking distance are closing. Will someone please remind me why I live in the city?
