Let up on him

Big Ben has been cleared by the district attorney in Georgia, yet the news media and the fans (give his jersey to the thrift stores, etc.) won't let up on him. People are saying trade him, hang him on the nearest tree and so on.

But, there's Tiger Woods. The media and fans welcome him with open arms. He even got a standing ovation on the golf course. Yet, this man has committed adultery, not once but many times.

Whom do you want your kids to look up to? 'Nuff said ...
