Mean-spirited act
So the bishop of Greensburg won't let the sisters promote their recruitment events in his diocese because they signed a letter in support of health care reform ("Greensburg Bishop, Sisters at Odds Over Health Bill," April 16). How petty! How weaselly and mean-spirited and miserable!
In my opinion, His Eminence should stick to his episcopal knitting and humbly defer to the sisters in the matter of caring for the poor, the sick and the wretched. What, after all, would Jesus do?
