Ben belongs with the Steelers

I'm originally from Pennsylvania, but currently live in North Carolina. I am a huge Steelers fan and wanted to sound off regarding the Ben Roethlisberger punishment and possible trade.

I don't agree with Big Ben's conduct off the field, but I certainly don't want to lose him as my quarterback either! He's contributed greatly to our team's success over the last several years with not one, but two Super Bowl victories.

Financially getting rid of Big Ben would be a horrendous mistake for this fine organization. And what message is the Rooney family trying to send? Big Ben is a part of the Steeler family and we don't walk away from our family, especially since he has not been convicted of any crime.

He is guilty of making poor choices, but that's all. I certainly don't hold a lot of stock in what a bunch of drunken people state as fact. I've supported No. 7 in the past and that's not going to change. I will proudly wear my No. 7 jersey all season long, whether he plays or not.
