Diminished pride

Pittsburgh, the Rooney family and Steelers fans everywhere embraced and supported quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. With such stellar past performances, he had earned the right to continue to lead us all toward a current time in which Steelers and dynasty would again be spoken in the same breath. Even if he does accomplish that, will it ever be the same? Will it really be a prideful moment?

Unfortunately, Ben seems to have forgotten the basic premise upon which the city was founded - something most fans, the owners and other team members have never forgotten.

In this case, Ben's right has gone wrong - very, very wrong!
