Real news displaced

For Pete's sake! Would you please cut out all this nonsense (I would like to use a much stronger word, but I had better not) about Ben Roethlisberger? For weeks we have been bombarded by articles, editorials and huge numbers of letters about him. The articles are often on the front page, displacing real news of vastly greater importance.

Get a sense of proportion! This is a sleazy episode in a nightclub, involving a person who is clearly a jerk in his private life, and in professional life is renowned for having big muscles and throwing a ball about.

If you must print this garbage, restrict it to the Sports section where it belongs. Anyone would think it was about the outbreak of nuclear war or something. Get a life!
