Website tells story of Pittsburgher Barry Alfonso and other founders of San Diego Comic-Con

On this first day of San Diego Comic-Con, when I am in quaint, historic (and hot) Shepherdstown, W.Va., on a theater mission, a reminder that SDCC was started by a small group of comic book fans who include Pittsburgher Barry Alfonso. San Diego State University has created a Comic-Con Kids website that tells the founders' story with images that appeared in the Post-Gazette a couple of years back, plus a video interview with Alfonso.
