Slayer, which headlined the Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival in Burgettstown last summer, will go back indoors for a club show at Stage AE on Sept. 15 with Anthrax and Death Angel.
Tickets are $39.50 advance/$42 day of show and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 13 at all Ticketmaster locations, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. The Slayer Fan Club Presale starts Tuesday, May 10 at http://slatanicwehrmacht.com
Slayer is still touring behind last year's "Repentless," the first album made without guitarist Jeff Hanneman, who died in 2013 and was replaced by Gary Holt of Exodus. Tom Araya and Kerry King were also joined by Paul Bostaph, replacing Dave Lombardo.
The tour starts in Cleveland on Sept. 9.
Slayer's Kerry King stated, "It’s always super fun for us to tour with Anthrax. Frank [Bello] is one of my best friends in the biz!! Put that together with Death Angel, and fans will probably see the best package this year. See you there!"
"We are very excited to tour again with our fellow Kings Slayer on a thrash/metal extravaganza," said Anthrax's Charlie Benante. "Two of the Big Four - now that's a night of metal for all the Kings and Queens!"
