Bruno Mars coming to Consol in July

Most of the arena shows we get are classic rock acts.

Here comes a current hitmaker.

Bruno Mars, whose very Sting-like hit "Locked Out of Heaven" is in high rotation right now on pop radio, will bring his Moonshine Jungle Tour to Consol Energy Center on July 2 with special guest Ellie Goulding.

This will be the first headlining show in Pittsburgh for the Grammy-winning Hawaiian star whose hits include "Nothin' on You," "Grenade" and "Just the Way You Are."

The concert is just four days before the Taylor Swift show at Heinz Field, so it's shaping up as a big week for Top 40 fans.
