Think Like a Man Too tops box office

Think2The Vegas Boys topped the Jersey Boys at the box office, which probably wasn’t a surprise since “Think Like a Man Too” was a sequel and rated PG-13, to boot, while “Jersey Boys” was aimed at an older crowd and rated R.
The comedy took a dozen or so core characters from the first movie, which debuted with $33.6 million April 2012, to Vegas for a destination wedding and bachelor and bachelorette parties.
It is a sequel to the 2012 hit inspired by Steve Harvey’s advice book, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man: What Men Really Think About Love, Relationships, Intimacy, and Commitment.” (At left are Michael Ealy and Kevin Hart. Above, the ladies cut loose on the eve of a wedding, too.)
“The Fault in Our Stars” continues to draw moviegoers and should cross the $100 million mark next week.
Here are the early weekend estimates courtesy of Rentrak which tracks the box office:
1. “Think Like a Man Too” — $30,000,000.
2. “22 Jump Street” — $29,000,000, for $111,450,130 to date.
