How do you follow winning an Oscar as best supporting actress?
You join the cast of the new “Star Wars” movie.
That’s what Lupita Nyong’o, who was honored for her role in “12 Years a Slave,” is doing. She has been cast in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Wars: Episode VII” along with Gwendoline Christie from “Game of Thrones.”
No word on what roles they will play. Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy confirmed the casting in a statement, as reported by Variety and The Hollywood Reporter.
