Woody Allen next will work his Magic in the Moonlight

As Cate Blanchett likely prepares to pick up honors for “Blue Jasmine,” Sony Pictures Classics has announced it will distribute Woody Allen's next movie, “Magic in the Moonlight.”

 

He directs a cast that includes Colin Firth, Emma Stone, Jacki Weaver, Eileen Atkins, Marcia Gay Harden, Hamish Linklater and Simon McBurney.

 

“Magic in the Moonlight” is a romantic comedy about an Englishman brought in to help unmask a possible swindle. Complications ensue.

 

The film is set in the south of France world of the 1920s of wealthy mansions the Cote d’Azur, jazz joints and fashionable spots for the wealthy of the Jazz Age, Sony Pictures Classics reports.
