Moviegoers warm to Frozen, Out of the Furnace places third

“Frozen” continues to melt moviegoers’ hearts and was No. 1 with an estimated $31,641,000 for the weekend, bringing its total so far to $134,278,000.
 
“The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” was second with $27 million, according to Rentrak and “Out of the Furnace” (pictured below, Christian Bale) brought in $5,300,000. 
 
Here are the top 10: 
 
1. “Frozen” — $31,641,000, bringing its estimated total to $134,278,000.
2. “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” — $27,000,000, for $336,664,956 in North America alone. 
3. “Out of the Furnace” — $5,300,000, for $5,327,076 so far. 
4. “Thor: The Dark World” — $4,740,000, bringing its total to $193,640,000.
5. “Delivery Man” — $3,775,000, for $24,799,000 since release. 
6. “Homefront” — $3,384,000 or $15,284,000 to date. 
7. “The Book Thief” — $2,700,000, for $12,075,055 so far. 
8. “The Best Man Holiday” — $2,673,015, nudging its total to $67,238,630.
9. “Philomena” — $2,282,000 or $8,254,635 since opening. 
10. “Dallas Buyers Club”  — $1,458,662 in limited release, for $12,411,119.
